Amazing beach, great for kids. Pizza for kids was great. Food prices reasonable Daily room cleaning exceptional. They even organised my son’s toys into the shelves. Views and high tide 10/10 Peaceful, quite and relaxing beach front We head very nice weather White sand Snorkeling and kayaking for free

The family pool was way too cold, freezing, even on the hot days. Beach was way better, water was warmer.

Castaway Island was truly exceptional and one of the most magical family holidays we have ever experienced. The kids and adults genuinely had the best time, which is one of the things that makes Castaway so special — there was something wonderful for every member of our family. The island itself and marine life is breathtakingly beautiful. It’s the the people that really make Castaway extraordinary. The staff are warm, genuine, kind-hearted and welcoming, and made us feel like part of the Castaway family from the moment we arrived. They are quite simply all round wonderful human beings. The snorkelling just off the beach was absolutely out of this world. The coral reefs and incredible variety of marine life (turtles, fish, rays, starfish) surrounding the island were breathtaking, and being able to experience this together as a family was unforgettable. We were also incredibly impressed by Castaway’s commitment to the environment and marine conservation. The environmental, conservation and educational programmes were excellent. Our children absolutely loved being involved, learning about the marine environment and conservation in such a fun, meaningful and hands-on way. As an adult, I loved it just as much! It was wonderful to stay somewhere that doesn’t simply benefit from its beautiful natural surroundings, but genuinely values, protects and educates guests about them. The food was another huge highlight — genuinely 5-star. The quality, variety and presentation were outstanding throughout our stay. Also multiple gluten free /coeliac safe portions and the chef went out of his way to help. Most of all, though, we will remember the people and the feeling of Castaway. There is such a genuine warm hearted-ness, generosity and sense of community here. Our children had an absolute ball, we adults loved every minute too, and we made some incredibly special family memories. We arrived as guests and left feeling genuinely sad to say goodbye.
