The checkin took longer than any hotel that I have been in for more than 70 years as did the finalisation of the bill. While there was a shower cap in the bathroom and a couple of cotton buds, there were no sanitary disposal bags and no hanging rail for towels. Tea bags and coffee were supplied but there were no extras, even ones that could be paid for such as biscuits or crisps or nuts. The menu in the main restaurant was no better than a roadside diner and very, very slow to arrive. Perhaps someone could teach the staff exactly what a club sandwich is!

Slow and Disappointing

It took 45 minutes to check in which was ridiculous and the security hold of FJD$300 a night left didn't really make for a great first impression. The pool was nice but far too cold, to the point that everybody we met during out stay were saying the same thing. Staff were friendly but everything was SO slow. Dinner took over an hour one night for two burgers despite there being only about six other tables at the restaurant. Although they had also said there was a baby cot ready to go in our room at check-in when we asked, there wasn't one when we arrived and it took them two hours to finally get one delivered. Speaking of slow, the hot water in the shower took ten minutes to warm up as well. Definitely didn't meet expectations for the price point compared to other past resort experiences in Fiji.
