The location is remote,down in a valley which needs a 15 minutes gravel driving off from the main road.

I wish that they will look better after the animals. Give them the scraps from the kitchen after the meals is served.

Lovely setting right on the beach.

Worth knowing

Guests should be advised at the time of booking that they are not allowed to bring their own alcohol or food onto the premises. Lengthy forms to sign on checking in to comply with the rules. The outside verandahs of the bures including the most expensive ones don’t have tables and chairs to sit at to enjoy the ambience. Everything is designed to ensure you go up to the main area to spend money on food and drinks there

The setting and view and Fijian staff were very good. The bure was fine and bed was comfortable.

Worth knowing

As soon as we arrived we were given a document we had to sign which set out the very heavy fines we would have to pay if we consumed any food or drink purchased outside the resort, also we had to keep all valuables secured at all times etc, etc. A very threatening and unwelcoming introduction to our stay. When we got to our bure we found that the room safe was out of order. There were no chairs or table on our deck. Breakfast was included but the 'selection of tropical fruit' was extremely limited and any hot dish had to be purchased.

The non disclosure about no drinks or food in our rooms eg snacks and duty free alcohol for us internationals without a car ..$200 fine per person per night for alcohol and $100 a night per person for food
