Food portions could be bigger. Take snacks for your room if you are surfing lots and need to eat lots. Food was nice though, especially the fish curry.

I seriously urge people to think twice before booking this place. Our stay was genuinely one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had, and the property is nothing like what is advertised on Booking.com. The resort is extremely run down, with very little to do. The advertised massages, snorkel/paddleboard hire etc. were not available, and there is no indoor area, which made our stay particularly miserable when the weather turned cold and rainy. There was also no entertainment or activities offered by the staff. We repeatedly had to ask for extra blankets and had to remind staff before receiving them. The worst part was the manager, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. His poor organisation caused guests to worry about missing their ferries. When we expressed concern about being late, he became extremely aggressive, stomping his feet and wailing at us, before telling us to “find our own way off the island” — despite the fact that there is no other way off the island. There were also unexpected additional costs. The resort charged $45 per person each way for the boat transfer and $20 per person per day for “energy costs”, neither of which was clearly communicated to us when booking. The weather was out of the resort’s control, but the poor management, lack of facilities, undisclosed costs and treatment of guests made this an awful experience. I strongly recommend reading the Google reviews before booking — I wish we had.

El trato que recibimos del manager hacia nosotros fue deplorable. Actitud soberbia y prepotente, con pocas ganas de atendernos y poca paciencia. Por si no pagaras poco, te hacen pagar 50FJD extra por persona por llevarte al barco de South Sea Cruises, tanto de ida como de vuelta. Si sueles comer mucho, quizás pasarás hambre. La comida está increíble pero las cantidades pueden ser algo justas. Si buscas un alojamiento para descansar y relajarte en la playa no es tu sitio, es más para surferos porque en la zona hace mucho aire y la playa no es para bañarse.
