Maika Beachside homestay

Our unit ( 1 of 2) was right on the beach front. A lovely family from their nearby village cared for us. This is a real Fiji experience. Called a homestay but guests are not sharing the home of the family. Tranquil, peaceful, snorkelling straight from the beach frontage. The family cook all meals of excellent quality. I am gluten free and it was easy. Lots of fish and chicken. Fresh fruit and coconuts and natural s po ring water We are in our seventies and it was a valuable and very enjoyable 4 night stay. We recommend it.

There's only two rooms on the homestay and we were the only guest there for most of our stay. Rooms were clean comfortable, food was lovely home cooked traditional meals. Max jo and the family were lovely. Very welcoming

Einfache aber saubere Zimmer (es sind 2 verfügbar), sehr freundliche Gastgeber, Transfer zur Fähre hat gut geklappt, Essen "original Fiji style" - sehr lecker; reichhaltige Angebote (z.B. Manta-Schnorcheln). Unglaublich freundliche und liebevolle Menschen, die man kennenlernen kann, wenn man es möchte - die einem aber auch Freiraum lassen. Wanderungen auf der Insel möglich (Dorf, Kirche, Schule, Resort, zum Berggipfel - besser geführt)

Food was delicious, loved the home-cooked meals. Family was so kind! Location was beautiful! Felt like our own private island!

Je krijgt echt waar voor je geld en een goed idee hoe de lokale bevolking leeft. Het eten was erg lekker en je kunt er verschillende activiteiten doen.

波の音と風の音、静かで、風通りもよく、日光浴もベランダで出来に、海へのアクセスもすぐに行けた。ベッドは寝心地が最高でした。3食の食事も美味しく楽しみでした。マイカさんファミリーは親切で干渉もなく、ゆっくりと穏やかな時間が過ごせました。 ゆっくり休息できて、素晴らしい滞在でした。
