What guests loved

The island is beautiful. The huts are right on the beach facing the water; a lot of reefs around and a beautiful hike up to the top of the island. What makes the place special is the communal vibe: staff are friendly and the shared food/hang out hall encourages people to interact with each other. The no wifi also is a nice chance to disconnect. We got caught there during a 3 day storm where we couldn't leave the island or do activities, but still had a great time walking around and getting to know people. lots of activities on offer

Worth knowing

The accomodation was quite run down, both the rooms and the bathrooms. Activities were a bit overpriced compared to other islands.

Le personnel est génial, très accueillant et à l’écoute. De nombreuses activités à faire (hiking, snorkeling, diving …). Très bonne nourriture et beaucoup de choix !

We had an enjoyable stay at Waya Lailai Eco Haven and left with good memories of the beautiful location, friendly hospitality and consistently good food. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. A very nice setting with lovely sea views and a relaxed island atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The snorkel trip to the Coral Garden reef was spectacular, lots of beautiful corals and fish.

Worth knowing

We stayed in a sea-view bure, which was basic and somewhat run down. While it was comfortable enough for our needs, it would benefit from some maintenance. The main issue was the water supply. The shower (only cold water) only produced a trickle of water on the first night, and after that there was no shower water available for the remainder of our stay. To the property's credit, the hosts acknowledged the problem and provided us with a discount on the bure, which we appreciated and felt was a fair response

Amazing location, right on the beach. Hammocks out front to relax in, the walk along the beach is a nice 20mins. Great central area to interact with everyone if you want. Additional activities to do as you choose.

Worth knowing

Had limited coverage for the eSIM I had, and wifi is not all day, but not really an issue for a holiday to relax.
