Maika beachside homestay

This is the true Fijian experience of homestay in your private unit, right on the beach, with the village in walking distance. Three meals a day for $50 are huge and delicious. The family are beautifully kind and helpful, while giving complete privacy with only two units..one other guest and myself. Maika will collect you and bring you directly to the homestay by boat. As a single woman I was totally safe and cared for, while given my own privacy. I will be back next year. Wish I stayed longer than 3 nights.

The room was very well kept, the most comfortable place we stayed during our Yasawa island trip! Lots of activities to choose from and the food provided was delicious. The host family were so nice and even took us to Sunday Church service with them - truly an amazing experience. Thank you very much to the lovely family for providing us with an amazing stay.

The best quality Homestay we stayed at in Fiji. The bed was super comfortable, the food was awesome and the family were very welcoming.

Absolutely beautiful views. The rooms are also very comfortable and nice. We did sabu sabu which is when you find kava in the village to give to the chief for access into the village and played volleyball and games with the kids. We were also very lucky to watch a dance and join them in drinking kava. They picked us up from a boat from octopus resort as we were coming down south from the yasawa flyer. Stay respectful of the village people when you come and bring clothes to cover your legs and shoulders.
