Lovely clean, comfy studio which had everything we needed for our short stay, even got snorkels & went kayaking around the harbour.

They have dogs so can get noisy when they barking at night. Otherwise they’re very friendly bunch.

I thoroughly enjoyed being here, after 2.5 month traveling all over Oceania! If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, affordable stay with lovely, easy going hosts + small staff + dogs, a studio in wellbuilt, caring, industrial-colonial style (if that is a thing), with everything and more you need for a stay of some time, with a view on the bay, with some points of interest in walking distance, tips for activities, including snorkel gear, this may just be the ideal spot for you and max. 1 other person.
Worth knowing
For me, just that Vanua Levu was watmer and more moist that I anticipated. The rest was great! In general however, if you are primarily looking for a luxury stay with aircon, tv, highspeed internet, warm tapwater, organised activities, and a choice of restaurants and bars a few feet away, I suggest you browse on.

I like that it was simple, clean and it was open and in a beautiful location. The owners of the rooms are very nice, hospitable and very helpful when you need them.
Worth knowing
Probably the only difficulty is the distance from town on foot. I needed the exercise but doing it every day can become a challenge however to be fair there are taxis quite frequently.

The studio is great! Super comfortable. Beach close by. Town is just few minutes car ride from there. Jan and Ian are amazing hosts!
