My host collected me from the ferry. He did not provide meals, but took me out to find food on both days (for a small charge). The accommodation was nice, good sized, self-contained annex to the host's house with the door opening on to the patio. It had an en-suite shower room and toilet. There was confusion between booking.com and the host as to the number of days I was staying. The host quickly found me accommodation within walking distance of the airport for my second night. He dropped me off at the Sabeto Hot Spring Mud Pool, which included a massage, in the morning. I have never been to a mud pool or massage before, but I highly recommend it. Afterwards he took me to the accommodation near the airport. He charged me only a small amount for transporting me. A very helpful host.
Worth knowing
The only problem was the confusion between booking.com and the host. I originally booked for one night and then when I couldn't get a flight, probably only half an hour later, booked for a second night. I got a confirmation for two nights from booking.com, but he said he only got the booking for the one night. He had another guest after me, but he resolved it quickly and found me somewhere even more convenient for my second night.
