Nous avons voyagé beaucoup sur les 5 continents. Cet homestay est le meilleur que nous ayons connus. Les gens sont très accueillants, souriants et aidants. La nourriture est excellente! Les repas sont très copieux. Repas différents à chaque jour. Le lit est très confortable. Nous y avons fait la rencontre de gens qui sont devenus nos amis! Sam nous a reconduit souvent à la plage sans frais. Ce fut mon anniversaire le dernier soir et Sarah et ses aides m’ont servi mon repas préféré avec un beau gâteau à mon nom. Ces gens sont très attachants! Je recommande sans hésitation!

It was a genuine Fiji experience. The ownees couple Sam and Sara were friendly, kind and helpful. So grateful for their hospitality.

I felt warmly welcomed and at home from the moment that Sam picked me up from the airport and gave me a quick orientation of what was within an easy walking distance of the Homestay, which has a prime view of the airstrip itself, true to its name. My room was very well appointed, with a large and VERY comfortable bed, more than sufficient closet space and hangers, a work desk, plenty of power outlets, and a very large ensuite bathroom with a dependable supply of hot water in the shower. It also has air conditioning, though while I was there, the nights were always so breezy and cooling that it was not even necessary. Although I had to miss two days of breakfast as I was headed out early for birding tours, Sam and Sara kindly kept some food for me to eat for teatime after I returned on both days, and also made a sandwich for me to eat while hiking at Bouma. They also fed me very well for the other two days when I did have breakfast. Also, for a very reasonable amount of just FJD 40, Sara and Sam prepared a very wide spread of delicious food for me on my last night in Taveuni, even though I was the sole guest. Highly recommended if you like your food. It was a true pleasure to be hosted by Sam, Sara and family, and it will certainly be a highlight of your time in Fiji. Vinaka!

I absolutely loved my 5 night stay with Sarah and Sam. They were the most gracious, hospitable hosts and it truly felt like a home away from home. The room and bed was so comfortable, the breakfasts were amazing and the location was perfect. They helped facilitate any activity I wanted to do and always made sure I was well fed and looked after. If you want to experience a slice of paradise, this is the place for you.

Nice friendly homestay, with great homecooked food. Room is spacious but mine was right next to the dining area, so expect noise. The shower/toilet is shared though I didn't have to wait.
