Nuestra familia en Taveuni

Lo más destacado del Homestay es la amabilidad de Sarah, Sam y Jason, la familia que vive en la casa, así como de todas las trabajadoras. Desde el primer momento nos hicieron sentir como una más de la familia. Aprendimos muchísimo sobre su cultura y costumbres y por supuesto, cómo olvidar las deliciosas cenas que preparaban. Nos costó mucho abandonar Taveuni. Fue un auténtico placer compartir una semana con ellos. En cuando a la habitación, la limpiaban todos los días y estaban construyendo otro baño para que cada habitación tuviera uno privado. Está literalmente al lado del aeropuerto, pero el ruido no molesta, te acabas acostumbrando a las pocas avionetas que aterrizan. Si necesitas contratar buceo, snorkel o cualquier otra actividad ellos te ayudan a buscar la mejor opción, y también ofrecen servicio de driver para llevarte a visitar diferentes lugares de la isla. Lo recomiendo muchísimo!

Man fühlt sich sehr herzlich in die Familie von Sarah und Sam aufgenommen, das Essen ist grandios, immer sehr vielfältig und super lecker! Wenn man Ausflüge machen möchte, bringen Sam oder Jason einen dorthin oder begleiten einen auch auf Wanderungen. Man fühlt sich super wohl!

Sarah and Sam are the best! They welcomed us as if we were part of their family and were very accommodating with all our requests. We felt at home almost immediately and will keep such nice memories of our time at their’s. Our kids also rated this homestay as the best place they stayed at after a month in Fiji in various different resorts/ lodges. The food is sooooo yummy too and you won’t lose weight there!

Worth knowing

That we didn’t stay longer. I felt quite emotional when we left.

Sarah and Sam gave us the best hospitality we got in Fiji, the rooms are big and clean. The dinner was exceptional, by far the best food we eaten in Fiji.

The food was phenomenal! We are vegetarian and there were always multiple tasty dishes at breakfast and at dinner for us. I miss it already, especially the papaya curry!!!!!! When we went in 2026, breakfast was included and dinner was $20 USD per person. You need to pay in cash so be sure to bring fijian currency. They had some cats on site while I was there and they were super friendly.
