Considering what happened to our booking and how we were treated I did not like that property is should not be open for business

Worth knowing

The staff except Lavish the receptionist he was trying his best to help us. The whole place needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. The Manager and Owner need to study more on how to have good customer service and on how to run a resort. The rooms are filthy and need a desparate upgrade

Upon arrival, I was informed that there were no reservations, despite having booked via BDC one month prior. They tried to blackmail me into cancelling my Booking.com reservation and requested that I re-book directly with them, then begged me to give them a good review. Because I said no, the owner stated she did not have a room for me. She did not care that I was on my own in a foreign country, compromising my emotional and physical safety. Other customers were being turned away as well or customers were paying top dollar with cash for rooms that were in poor condition. I returned to the property with two police officers who took photos of a room. They continued to state that the establishment needed to be shut down. I hope that BDC will screen future vendors to prevent this form occuiring to other loyal BDC customers in future.
