Dream Paradise Apartment

Nach einer langen Anreise wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen! Glücklicherweise wurde uns ein früherer Check-In ermöglicht. Wir wurden mit einer frischen Kokosnuss begrüßt und erhielten direkt ein paar extra Tipps. Obwohl unsere Gastgeber am nächsten Tag verreisten, waren sie für Fragen sehr gut erreichbar. Unser WLAN-Signal war an einem Abend weg und innerhalb von 10 Minuten wurde sich, trotz der Distanz, gekümmert. Die Lage ist super. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Back Road des Ortes, dadurch ist es sehr ruhig. Man hört nur zwischendurch die Hunde und Hähne in der Nachbarschaft (auch nachts). Cafés, Restaurants und kleine Supermärkte (ein "Supermarkt" ist direkt gegenüber) sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Meer ist 3 Minuten entfernt - unbedingt auf die Tide achten! Der Ortsbus hält ebenfalls direkt vor der Türe und fährt alle 20 Minuten nach Sigatoka.

Easy location to catch the local buses. Bed was comfortable, pretty little garden with nice wooden seat. Had all the basics and hosts were friendly to provide help. Very private stay. There are some general stores at walking distance, western style cafe, small take-away food shops, and a good restaurant at Ramada - medium range price, very good food. Not too far either there are higher end resorts for those with a fancier taste.

I love the fact that the location was absolutely perfect the chicken was smooth the family are so amazing I would definitely recommend anybody to stay here rather than the huge resorts you get a local feeling everything is in walking distance the corner shops can offer Tours and gifts and massages there’s a lovely restaurant around the corner now Most of all I would just say that that that Dutt family I just so hospitable and gave me fresh fruit and made me feel like I could go to them for anything

Our stay at Dream Paradise was one of the real highlights of our trip to Fiji. The couple who run it live downstairs and they were so incredibly welcoming, kind and generous throughout our stay. They gave us a fresh papaya from their tree and other little treats throughout our visit. The unit is very spacious and well equipped — great value for money. And Korotogo is a great base to explore the Coral Coast. You’re in a real Fijian neighbourhood where real people live, which adds to its charm. You’re going to hear roosters in the morning and dogs barking at night (we closed the windows, turned on the AC and slept fine). I think the few bad reviews for this place are people who were expecting a hotel for a fraction of the price. If you want to get a feel for the “real” Fiji away from the resorts and get to know a lovely Indo-Fijian couple, you’ll have an amazing experience here. Also be sure to check out the jewellery and Fijian souvenirs the woman has for sale. Everything is a very fair price, much cheaper than anything else we saw in Fiji. The hosts were very friendly and very helpful with any requests. The property itself was just as described, no complaints at all- and in the perfect location for a traveler to explore the Coral coast!
