Voyager Retreat Homestay

We had a very enjoyable stay at Voyager Retreat Homestay, primarily because of its outstanding location, warm hospitality, and excellent food. The place was very clean, the beachfront setting is beautiful, peaceful, and exactly the kind of authentic island experience we were looking for. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the meals. The food was excellent on two of the three days we stayed, with fresh, well-prepared dishes that were among the highlights of our trip.

Vilise was a great host. We had a good meals, fun activities and a great beach location.

Logement très sympa dans un cadre idyllique. Le lit était confortable et les installations fonctionnelles avec une douche. Vilise nous a fait découvrit des endroits magnifiques avec son bateau. Les îles Yasawa sont paradisiaques. On a eu la chance de participer à une fête avec les voisins et membres de la famille qui nous ont fait découvrir le Kavva. Super souvenir. La nourriture était copieuse. Merci pour cet excellent séjour.

I had the best experience here at Voyager. We stayed for 5 nights and loved every moment of it. Vilise was a tremendous host, an excellent master chef, creating different meals every day. He was kind, great to talk to but at the same time gave us personal space. The Bure, toilets, shower and the property are all meticulously cleaned. Hands down we felt it was the best homestay on the island. The beach in front of the property was surreal with the beautiful shades of blue and a great place to swim. A 20 minute hike takes you to blue lagoon beach which is absolutely a must do, we hiked everyday to this beach and Vilise was kind enough to deliver us lunch when he was on that side of the island. A 10/10 experience and will return to the beautiful spot.

Out of the three accommodations we stayed at in the Yasawa Islands, this was our favourite. Vilise was an exceptional host—attentive, welcoming, and always making sure we had everything we needed. It's especially impressive that he manages most of the accommodation and activities on his own. The food was the most authentic we had during our time in Yasawa, and if you enjoy fishing, Vi is happy to show you what you can catch in the surrounding waters. The island itself is beautiful, easy to explore on foot, and wonderfully peaceful. If you're looking for privacy and relaxation, this is the perfect place. Thank you again for such a memorable stay—we hope to come back one day!

Authentic, charming and the most stunning location. We had an incredible stay at Voyager retreat with warm hospitality, fantastic cooking and great excursions (Sawa i Lau caves, excellent snorkelling). The home stay overlooks a beautiful reef and catering to vegetarian diet was no problem at all. Highly, highly recommend.
