Voyager Retreat Homestay

Out of the three accommodations we stayed at in the Yasawa Islands, this was our favourite. Vilise was an exceptional host—attentive, welcoming, and always making sure we had everything we needed. It's especially impressive that he manages most of the accommodation and activities on his own. The food was the most authentic we had during our time in Yasawa, and if you enjoy fishing, Vi is happy to show you what you can catch in the surrounding waters. The island itself is beautiful, easy to explore on foot, and wonderfully peaceful. If you're looking for privacy and relaxation, this is the perfect place. Thank you again for such a memorable stay—we hope to come back one day!

Authentic, charming and the most stunning location. We had an incredible stay at Voyager retreat with warm hospitality, fantastic cooking and great excursions (Sawa i Lau caves, excellent snorkelling). The home stay overlooks a beautiful reef and catering to vegetarian diet was no problem at all. Highly, highly recommend.

Accommodation is basic, comfortable, very clean and excellent value for money. Vili, the host, is, very considerate and helpful. He's an excellent cook, having trained as a chef some years ago. We only ate breakfast and dinner each day - quantity and quality were more than enough..fresh caught fish, grilled with garlic...absolutely mouth-watering 🥲🥲🥲. Make sure to try Vili's home-made icecream for a real treat ! The only drawback. during our stay was the noisy cockerel...but it made an excellent dinner 😃. Lo's Tea house a couple of minutes walk along the beach is great for snacks, drinks or lunches. The beach is ok for swimming when the tides are ok, but a 25 minute walk (probably with one of the village dogs acting as local guide) over to the Blue Lagoon will take you to soft white sand, calm waters and good snorkelling on some nice coral. That beach is privately owned by the cruise company, but open for anyone on the days when the cruise liner isn't there. When it's there, just quietly walk down the beach a few metres and they'll ignore you. The Nanuya Boathouse is a short distance further along the beach, with a small general store and a bar/cafe. We stayed 6 nights at Voyager, and leaving felt like leaving a friend

Former guests didnt lie to us. The food is super good, better than the resorts we stayed in. Host is helpful, and considerate. Room is clean and he puts fresh flowers on the washbasin everyday. The sea nearby is super clear and here is the best place for sunrise, the name should be changed to Voyager Sunrise Homestay. Do go for the tours as much as you can.

We loved our 3 night stay here on the peaceful island of Nanuya. Highlight’s included the host’s cooking, learning about his family history on the island and homemade ice creams! The island itself is also beautiful but small and there are two trails to the other side (one to another beautiful beach, one to Nanuya island resort) with great viewpoints along the way. We thoroughly recommend this homestay

Fantazie. Chceš zažít pravé Fidži? Tak to jsi tady správně. Půvabný dřevěný domek pro hosty a společné socialní zařízení s Vilisem. Všude absolutně čisto, květiny a voňavé. Vilis je fantastický kuchař! Snídaně a večeře připraví s láskou a velmi chutné. Jsi 24 metrů od Pacifiku, nádherná pláž, skvělý oceán. Ve vesničce žije asi 5 rodin a je tu tea shop, kde u Abo nakoupíš i dunats nebo suvenýry. Perfektní je trail džunglí přes kopec, cca 25 minut, do resortu, kde je i market. Autentické Fidži u Vilise a nemohu zaponout i fantastické korály plné ryb. Díky Vilisi! Jiri a Leona
