This is part of the family who run Joji and Alisi's place. Incredible hosts who get you to join in with village life (kava and meeting others from the village in the evening), very relaxed and informative hosts. The snorkelling trip out was one of the highlights of my time in Fiji as the coral was beautiful and I got to see locals spear-fish at the same time. The room was basic but made up with care, as you would expect from a more rural village in Fiji. Alisi's cooking was incredible.
Worth knowing
Not a complaint, but for others to be aware that the washroom is a tap and bucket only (not a shower), as you would expect in a homestay.

Our stay here was fantastic. The room itself was simple and authentic but clean and we felt well taken care of. What made it special was definitely the people and community you get to stay in. From the sevu sevu offering to the chief, to wonderful day trips snorkelling and diving and sitting together in the evening with some kava and songs, it was an incredible experience. Joji and Alisi will take perfect care of you, as will everyone in the village for that matter.
