Worth knowing

Property was under construction so noisy from morning to evening, at times we had no water or internet ; mosquitoes; although self-contained the kitchen wasn't well stocked. I had to keep asking for things from the owner who lives upstairs. She was nice about it but took time to reply. In the end we were given a discount but the experience left us feeling very disappointed.

Bought for view of harbour which you get but there was construction happening which didn't help. The owner/host tried to mitigate it but that didn't stop the construction crews... The bathroom did not drain so well after showers. Don't think there was anything wong...it just took a long time to drain.

The accomodation is falsely advertised. It was very hard to find and this is because It was still under construction with scaffolding and rubble everywhere around the outside. It looked like an abandoned building. The water pipe draining sink in bathroom was split and gushing water. The aircon in one of the rooms was blowing into the room what we suspect was construction dust and it smelt unhealthy. The kitchen cabinets were unfinished. The kitchen supplies were not complete. Some tiles were uneven so trip hazards. We did not feel safe here due to health and safety risks. The owner did make contact to listen to and acknowledge our feedback and did not charge us for the stay.

There is a little confusion and misunderstanding with the staff bit was all resolved.

The floor and cushion were quite dusty but it’s manageable for adults. If you have kids, it’s gonna be a hustle to clean up before you settle in.
