What guests loved

We had an absolutely exceptional four-night stay at Maria and Jolame's homestay. Maria is a wonderful host, always going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The meals were superb and well-rounded, with Maria cooking enough to feed an army! All the locals were also very friendly and really made us feel at home. The beach was only a few metres from the doorstep, and provided some excellent snorkelling. We even spotted a reef shark (harmless!). They also had a nice selection of well-priced activities, and can even arrange scuba-diving with a dive centre on the island. We enjoyed every bit of our stay, however, there is only a bucket shower, which might not be everyone's cup of tea - but in all honesty, it was actually very refreshing. I would recommend Maria and Jolame's homestay to anyone visiting Fiji, and will definitely be returning on any future trips!

- Maria ist eine tolle Person und eine hervorragende Köchin! - Das Zimmer selbst war sauber und die Aussenterrasse, sowie Hängematte unten am Strand sehr cool. - Alle Leute im Dorf sind sehr freundlich - Ein Riff ist 5 Minunten Fussweg/Tauchweg entfernt und man kann eine herrvorragende Wanderung zu einem Aussichtspunkt auf der Insel unternehmen.

Worth knowing

- Die Küche und die Badezimmer sind relativ dreckig. Zwar erwarte ich nicht zu viel auf einem Homestay, aber zum Teil war es dann schon noch unappetitlich.
