Social and hostel like atmosphere, but gets quiet by 10pm. There is a lot available on the property to keep you busy (kayaks, pool, ping pong, snorkeling), which is good because the base trips were expensive and infrequent (you couldn't choose what you wanted to do, they only offered one or two trips every few days and only went if they had enough people). The majority of the staff is awesome and get to know you on a first name basis, we had a great time playing volleyball in the afternoons with them! The rooms were nice, clean and had AC and the bathroom was very spacious. Overall the value of what you get for the price you pay is definitely worth it, the marketing of the place is just slightly deceiving.
Worth knowing
The "surf break out front" isn't great, and the boat to go to other spots is pretty pricey. We were unable to travel with our boards so we had to rent and the rental prices are steep and the board selection isn't great (waterlogged and dinged up). The second day we borrowed Paul's boards (the surf guide), and these were much better quality (rentals are $50 fjd per use)! "Free breakfast" consists of cereal and toast with butter and jam, everything else (proteins, etc.) is an additional cost. The resort is in a pretty isolated area so it limits you to eating at the cafe they have, the portions were pretty small and the food didn't make us feel great. There were a few staff members who were quite unfriendly and unaccomodating, but overall the staff is fantastic and so much fun!!!

Great spot by the beach with huge grassy area and pool. Plenty of activities, lots of hammocks and hammock chairs, friendly staff and great food. Love the relaxed, homely vibe which makes it easy to meet fellow travellers. The family bure offers much more space for a lower price than some of the higher end resorts
Worth knowing
Cleanliness could have improved. The floor in our bure was dirty when we arrived, so we asked it to be cleaned but it ended up feeling grimy. Wore socks inside for our whole stay

Peccato per il brutto tempo che c'è stato, che ci ha impedito di sfruttare e goderci appieno l'albergo, perché la struttura è veramente ben organizzata, offrono molte attività e servizi! Il cibo è buono e il mare li davanti è stupendo. Per non parlare dei ragazzi delle attività che ti accompagnano con la barca a surfare o fare altre escursioni.

Sarebbe più comodo avere un armadio o una cassettiera nella stanza frangipani.

The location and hotel was beautiful. Loved happy hour. Loved the live music. Staff were all kind and polite. Outdoor shower was cool except in the rain when trying to keep your hair wet. Loved the experience tho. Wish the weather was better for more great photos, next time. Staff were accommodating to booking changes despite booking.com saying we could not. Very grateful for this as the place was a bit out of our budget.
Worth knowing
Unfortunately there was mosquitos in our room so we were stung quite a bit. There was a mouse or rat chewing something all night keeping us up. I tried getting up to sort this several times but no luck. There was chipped pieces of wood on the ground the next day.

Beautiful location right on the beach, with kayaks and paddle boards to use. My husband went on a fishing charter with the local staff and loved every moment of it. We ate the fish they caught for dinner. Staying here feels like a second home.
Worth knowing
The breakfast buffet needs more of an assortment of things, not just bread and cereal. The short time frame for dinner service was tricky. If we wanted a later dinner (after 8pm) the kitchen would be closed. Also the rooms are quite dated and simple, could use a refurb to match the relaxing vibes the beach side gives.
