Essen war gut und reichhaltig, Personal sehr bemüht, unsere 4 jährige Tochter fand den Kids Club toll, toller Strand, hatten einen tollen Ausflug zum Tauchen mit Manta Rochen. Der Transfer vom Flughafen und zum Resort war gut geplant und verlief gut (auf dem Boot zum Resort mussten sich einige übergeben, daher besser Vorkehrungen treffen)

Worth knowing

Der Gartenbungalow war ziemlich dunkel. Das Personal war zwar bemüht aber manchmal erzählt der eine dir das und der andere was ganz anderes, was teilweise ziemlich anstrengend ist. Mal bekommst du 2 Desserts, am nächsten Tag keins, mal werden deine alten Handtücher mitgenommen, aber neue gibt es keine, mal wird der Müll im Zimmer geleert, am anderen Tag nicht. Man kann an dem Strand nicht ohne Flossen schwimmen, die Strömung ist teilweise sehr stark, an manchen Tagen konnte man gar nicht ins Wasser. Das Resort selbst ist sauber, aber geht man etwas außerhalb in Richtung Dorf, in dem die Mitarbeiter leben, findet man sehr, sehr viel Plastikmüll, auch der Strand auf der anderen Seite war ziemlich unschön, es lag mitten am Strand ein totes Schwein mit entsprechendem Geruch. Bei der Abrechnung wollte man uns zusätzliche Leistungen in Rechnung stellen, die dann nach einigem Hin und Her wieder gestrichen wurden. Für Fiji ist das zwar prinzipiell normal, trotzdem störend.

The staff were super friendly and excellent with children. The view from the beach villas were stunning, with great cabanas, hammocks and sunloungers to relax and be on "Fiji time".

Worth knowing

Had to chase up on getting fresh towels and villa cleaned on a number of occaisons, which is disappointing. Also, the food was very hit and miss. Some days the food was not hot (lukewarm), which for things like chicken and rice a bit of a health risk.

A little piece of paradise, not overcrowded and a true island experience , the Japanese restaurant was incredible and beautiful Fijian people.

Worth knowing

Everything was exceptional for somewhere so remotely located, the only slight disadvantage was the ocean perhaps not so swimmer friendly , the snorkelling was great but there was a strong rip, and high tide had large waves so not as great for a gentle wallow around in the ocean. But the water was amazing blue and still superb.

The meals were incredible. Very high quality and delicious. Excellent value with the meal plan.

Worth knowing

The staff gave us the wrong luggage tags but we did not know what the 3 letter code mean on the tag. Our next destination was Coconut Beach Resort but the staff gave us Oarsman Resort and therefore the luggage were delivered to the wrong island from the Flyer Boat!

Traumhafte Lage, herrlicher Strand, das Riff mit vielen verschiedenen Fischen ist wirklich nur wenige Meter entfernt. Man kann Ausrüstung unkompliziert und gratis ausborgen, es gibt viele nette Aktivitäten, viele davon gratis. Unsere Hütte war einfach, aber sehr schön, mit direktem Strandzugang. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und bemüht, jedes Problem zu lösen. Es gibt einen Kids Club mit unaufdringlichen aber extrem netten Mitarbeiter*innen, auch dort gibt es immer was zu tun. Das Essen war gut, es gibt auch eine japanische Option in guter Qualität. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Das Essen für die Kinder (Buffet) ist ausbaufähig.
