The Fijian people are just the nicest most helpful people in the world. That is what makes or breaks a place and we appreciated the Octopus staff very much. We loved the singing and music on arrival and departure. We liked the amazing food in the main restaurant and in the Japanese Restaurant, the live music and singing at night, the wide variety of activities, the reef where you could snorkel right in front of the resort, the garden bures, the long beach for walks, and the quiet laid back atmosphere. They have free and paid activities through out the day. Our favorite activities were the Island Hop Snorkel ( best reef I have seen in a LONG time) , the Shark Point Snorkel, the Hand Line Fishing and the village visit. I would skip the Waya Snorkel, the reefs are not in very good shape. The reef in front of the resort was much better. The Hills to Ocean w/ Snorkel was canceled due to not enough people, so we organized a private boat at the dive shop and that was very fun. The pool was clean and well looked after, but we never used it because the beach and glorious warm clear ocean was only a few steps away. We had a super time there!

The food was fantastic. There are a lot of different options, the amount you get is great. The resort is very accommodating to any preferences, allergies and restrictions. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Te beach and pool are great. There are sufficient lounge areas. There are lots of activities included and the snorkelling is really good.

The dorm beds were very squeaky, as well as the doors.

Quiet easy access for snorkeling and the food all good

We were in bure 4 it was quite noisy from the generator as they started early in the morning and quite down at 9.30 at night specially when it's raining and you stuck indoors all day.
