Worth knowing

Beach photos are extremely flattering as not really a nice sandy beach. Everything felt damp in the nonaircon room. Deck pool pointless. No sunsets.

The staff were all great but Vilisi was especially wonderful. The location was perfect. Really good snorkeling. The house reef is good but the boat excursions were amazing. We realized a bit late in the week that we could request special meals from the kitchen team. - kokondo every day !!

Worth knowing

Nothing really. But the resort does need a shower facility that guests can use after checkout on their final day.

Located on Vanua Levu, opposite Taveuni Island, The Remote Resort Fiji Islands is accessible from either Taveuni or Savusavu. The easiest route from Nadi International Airport is to take a domestic flight from Nadi to Taveuni (flight time of 1 hour and 20 minutes). Transfers can be arranged from either Taveuni (20-minute boat ride to the resort) or Savusavu (1-hour car transfer via a partly unsealed road and a 20-minute boat ride to the resort).Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
