Good location however needs improvements

Lost in the middle of the jungle, very green and great surf spot. Great way to disconnect as there is no wifi in the room, and this is what we were looking for. Staff is really nice - aligned with the rest of the comments in booking - Good and funny surf instructor (Tim) which is a really good inspiration for some reading advices and traveling tips around the word. Good food - in particular the Tahitian Ceviche!
Worth knowing
The diner is very expensive - and we weren't told from the beginning what we had to pay. No choices of restaurant around as the beauty of the hotel is to be lost in the middle of nowhere, but it feels really overpriced - 90 FJD for the 3 courses. The "continental" breakfast is very poor and everything comes as extra (eggs, juice, smoothies...). No price is shown for the activities, FYI session of surf is 135 FJD per pers for a 2h session approx (depending of the weather condition) The hotel is not clean - we saw several cockroachs in the main room and around the breakfast small buffet table. The room was very dark and unfortunately we were in the part of the hotel where we were sharing a building with other rooms. We had noisy neighbors which were surfing early in the morning but didn't care about the fact that they were not alone. The bathroom is not very well done and the floor is wet very quickly. Overall we felt we had to pay extra for everything when the location is already quite expensive.
