Maravu Taveuni Lodge

I had the most peaceful stay here: I had initially booked for 7 nights and extended by 2 more because I didn’t want to leave! It was exactly what I was looking for. I had privacy to rest and relax, the staff were so professional, friendly and helpful! There’s a real community feel about Maravu where staff know all guests names off hand and because of the staff and activities offered by Maravu, guests interact more with each other and get to know each other. Food was delicious and flavorful. I’ve seen comments about the electricity being off between 11-4pm: this is true, but it is a small island and honestly it’s a time to disconnect and enjoy the insanely beautiful surroundings of the properties, enjoy the many activities offered by maravu or diving companies or enjoy the beach down the road :) I will 100% be back again!

I’ve already written my review on the seperate booking I had for my extended stay. 10/10 for everything at Maravu. The fact that I extended my stay says a lot!

A very peaceful relaxed setting.

The 2 bedroom bure was spacious and the bed very comfortable. All the windows had insect screens and louvres and the outside shower had a lovely garden. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and there were lots of different options. The bures were widely spaced about the extensive property which was beautifully cared for with palms, fruit trees and colourful garden beds. The beach is close by and there are other places in walking distance or you can get a taxi to the village. We stayed for one week and wished we'd booked for much longer.

Idéalement situé, à 5min de l'aéroport, près des restaurants et des centres de plongée. Le cadre est trés sympa, la nourriture est bonne. Le personnel est trés gentil. Merci Kali pour toutes tes connaissances au sujet des plantes/fruits, tes chants, ta gentillesse et bienveillance. Ping pong.

A really nice property and great staff. Loved the fact that you’re surrounded by a beautiful garden. The restaurant has really good food and some good prices. Not far from airport. Very clean.
