Several reviews note cleaning and maintenance could be better and one mentions an uncomfortable bed; cleanliness is a recurring minor negative.
Staff repeatedly described as very friendly, helpful and organised (multiple languages praise Raffa/Rafa and overall team), with one lone comment about unmotivated staff.
Frequently praised: quiet, beautiful natural surroundings, very near the beach and within walking distance of café/restaurant; ideal for a peaceful stay.

Zum Großteil sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal. Sehr große Zimmer, Essen war ok, Preis des Essens auch in Ordnung. Die Buren liegen weitläufig verteilt in einem wunderschönen Park und es ist sehr viel Platz und Ruhe. Auch der Poolbereich und der Aufenthaltsbereich sind ok, allerdings sehr alte Möbel.
Worth knowing
Das Haus sowie das Inventar ist extrem alt und wurde schon sehr lange nicht erneuert, wenn überhaupt und deshalb nicht wirklich einladend. Wasser in der Dusche maximal für 2 Minuten warm, danach kalt. Wifi im Zimmer funktioniert so gut wie gar nicht, im Aufenthaltsbereich, wenn man Glück hatte. Die letzten drei Tage ging eigentlich nur zeitweise Messenger, Webseiten öffnen war nicht möglich. Dafür kann das Haus nichts, aber das muss man kommunizieren. Da ich während meiner Reise auch arbeite, war das ein no go. Strom Generator wird zwischen 11h und 16h abgeschaltet. Das heißt, kein Aufladen, kein Ventilator, keine Klimaanlage. Abholung vom Flughafen hat nicht geklappt, die Bestätigung kam einen Tag nach meiner Ankunft. Poolhandtuch kostet 5$, zusätzlich 15$ Einsatz, die bei Rückgabe retourniert werden. Die Liegen am Pool sind im Prinzip fein, haben allerdings keine Auflagen und sind damit hart und unbequem. Abrechnung beim Essen ist kompliziert, man muss immer Bargeld mithaben. Essen kann, sofern das Gerät funktioniert (Internet) mit Karte bezahlt werden, Getränke nur bar. Für den verlangten Preis definitiv zu schlecht.

Worth knowing
1. The room was 15 minutes away from the check in counter on a 4 x 4 only track. Wew had a guest with walking restraints. We were renting a car so it was made easy. Resort also offered help if there was no vehicle with us. Such things should be mentioned on the website of the resort. 2. On reception, we were told that there will be no electricity during the day, only at night. So charging of phones and hot water was not possible. However, there was a gas stove which allowed us to boil water in a pan and make tea. 3. No hot water in one of the two rooms in the morning so the guests remained without shower for two nightys. 4. We requested for 2 umbrellas due to rain but were given one for four people. 5. We asked for extra blankets and were given four, but were thin and were not of much help for two of the guests. We requested for two or one more blankts which was declined as there were no more blankets at the resort. 6. We ordered pumpkin Soup and garlic bread. They forgot us, after a long wait we reminded them. It was very quick after that and it was delicious. 7. There was no iron in the room. 8. There were no slippers in the room. Normally hotels dont have it, but these could be kept in the room wich does not have even carpets and the environment is insects prone. Slippers and umbrellas can be rented even if not complimentry.

What a wonderfull beautifull place! Litlle paradise. The best price/accomodation in the island. Let me start with the staff Rafa, Kara, Ima, Sani, Kali,Mere,Noni,Siki,Solo and more. They are so friendly, helpfull. They treated me like family. It fellt like I was Family. They helped me with every question and with every need. It fellt like home. They arranged every trip for me so good and for a good price. The terrain is so big and so beautifull. Shoutout to the maintaince crew. A lot of nature they take care off. The rooms are big, clean. Everything a man needs. You have to take in account its a big terrain and they use a generator to power it. They turn it off in the day a few hours to cool off because you can't run it 24/h. If you don't understand this then you need to go back to school. The food is amazing and a good price ini comparision with other resorts. Close to the beach and a lot of other restaurants. I recommend this.

Sad tourists with a big ego who like to complain about everything. It ruins the vibe sometimes. But hey This is Fiji you gonna get a lot of those.

Might have been beneficial to have a kettle and extra bed linen, it was quite cold with just a sheet. Food was amazing, but kitchen was regularly overwhelmed.
