The surprise factor was the Dorm accommodation. The tree houses and the magnificent set-up in the jungle was sooo unexpected and blossful.
Generally clean rooms and the island is well kept, but guests reported common bathroom cleanliness issues and mosquito/insect problems in some villas.
Staff repeatedly praised as exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful (dive team, meal staff, organised extra trips and activities).
Excellent beachfront location, private bungalows, beautiful sunrise views and great access to snorkeling/diving – repeatedly highlighted as a major positive.
Beachfront bures and villas described as lovely with very good bathrooms; new dorms are nice but can be further from the main resort and some rooms aren’t fully mosquito-proof.
Wide range of included activities (snorkelling trips, bull shark diving, kayaks, volleyball, organised excursions) and well-maintained island facilities.
Mixed to negative: several guests called it expensive, noted an unexpected daily food charge (159 FDJ/person) and said the island isn’t ideal for longer stays due to repetitive offerings.
Food is generally described as good/tasty (frequent fish meals), but repetitive for multi-day stays and some guests found meal time windows too short.
Many guests report a magical/wonderful stay with standout experiences (bull shark dive, snorkelling) and exceptional hospitality, outweighing the operational and value drawbacks.

* Staff were basically nonexistent, even though there were a huge number of them. * If you have any questions, even the receptionists don’t know the answers. * You’re constantly having to look for information because no one gives it to you. * The food package is way too pricey for the quality of the buffet. Really disappointing.

The property is gorgeous, staff were lovely and we enjoyed the dive/snorkel activities. We stayed in a beach bungalow and really felt like waking up in paradise! Food & bar service was great as well and it was an easy, organized transfer from Port Denarau.

Great staff, good location, plenty of activities and an absolutely pleasant and comfortable place to spend a few days.
Worth knowing
Facilities are a bit dated and a little maintenance required. Overall though no big issues at all, just some minor repairs required around the bure.

Excellent, considerate, very welcoming staff, including the dive personnel. Some of the best snorkeling and diving sites from the shore, which is on a idyllic tropical stretch of beach, and with in 15min by boat. Clean facilities, relaxing, casual vibes.
