From Nausori to your Suva address.

Arriving at Nausori puts you on Suva’s side of Viti Levu, with a road journey still to come. A precise address and clear pickup details make that last leg easier.

The short version

Choose Nausori Airport, SUV, not Nadi Airport, NAN. Enter the full Suva destination and check the provider’s route availability. Save the confirmed meeting point and contact details before flying, and make any essential vehicle requirements explicit.

Start with SUV, not NAN

Fiji’s two international airports are easy to confuse when a booking only says Fiji. Nausori serves Suva and uses SUV; Nadi uses NAN on the western side of Viti Levu. Check the flight confirmation before arranging a pickup, then repeat the airport name when sharing details with your accommodation.

A Suva hotel booking does not prove that your flight lands at Nausori. Some international itineraries arrive in Nadi and need a separate connection. If that is yours, compare the additional flight or road journey before booking a vehicle at the wrong airport.

Use the entrance your host expects

Provide the property name and full address from your confirmation. For a private home, apartment or business, ask about the entrance, any gate and a contact person. If the destination is outside central Suva, use that location rather than a convenient city label that could produce the wrong route.

Let the accommodation know your likely arrival and ask about access if reception will be closed. A driver can take you to an address but cannot guarantee that someone will be waiting to let you in. Keep host instructions alongside the transfer confirmation so both parts of the arrival work together.

Make the pickup easy to recognise

Enter the flight number and local arrival date and follow the meeting instructions supplied after confirmation. Save the contact method for a delay or a missed meeting. If your airline changes the arrival airport or flight, update the transfer rather than assuming the original pickup will automatically move with it.

Include the whole party and all substantial luggage. Ask about child seats, mobility equipment and any assistance before booking. If a requirement is essential, get it confirmed by the actual provider; a general vehicle category is not enough to establish accessibility or equipment availability.

Check availability, then keep the return simple

The transfer search will show whether Welcome Pickups can offer your particular route and time. Review the quoted total, cancellation conditions and waiting arrangements before paying. Where a route is not offered, your accommodation may be able to recommend another local arrangement. Do not treat this guide as a promise of service coverage.

For the journey back, use your final pickup address and the departure details shown on the ticket. Give the airline’s airport check-in requirement enough room in the plan, including road conditions. A one-way arrival transfer does not create a return booking, so confirm the second direction explicitly if you need it.

A few useful answers

Does a Suva transfer always start at Nausori?

No. The airport depends on your ticket. Check SUV for Nausori or NAN for Nadi before choosing the pickup. The two airports require very different onward journeys to Suva.

Who manages the transfer after booking?

For a booking completed with Welcome Pickups, use the provider details in that confirmation for changes, pickup assistance and cancellation. HeyFiji does not operate the vehicle or set the final quote.
